Dr. Stefan Profanter

Hi!

This is my personal webpage.

You will find some information about myself, my skill set, and especially my current research publications.

I'm currently Team Lead of the Software Platform Team at Agile Robots and enjoy automating as much as possible while developing high-quality software.

Happy browsing!

What I Do

Program

I love to program and write code since around the year 2005. During this time I wrote many applications in C, C++, Python, Typescript, Java, Perl and many more languages.

Research

I pursued my PhD in Informatics with a strong focus on Robotics and love to find new solutions for arising problems. The main topic includes industrial automation, robotics, and OPC UA.

Manage Projects

I'm a certified Professional SCRUM Master and Professional SCRUM Product Owner, as well as holder of the PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate in project management.

Travel the world

I like to travel the world and visit new places, meet new people, and get to know new cultures. My goal is to visit every country at least once.
